Who We Are
Family of God Church — officially the Andrew Wutawunashe World Witness & Worldwide Family of God Churches (AWWW), and known to many simply as The African Revival — traces its roots to 1976, when a young Andrew Wutawunashe, then 23, began leading a series of Christian revival meetings in Zimbabwe. By 1980 that revival had grown into the first Family of God church, with its first official Harare service drawing about 30 people. Today the church counts more than 50 congregations across every province of Zimbabwe, and branches in 16 nations across Africa, Europe, the Americas and Australasia — including Botswana, Zambia, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Ireland and Australia.
Our Founder
Apostle & Prophet Andrew Wutawunashe left behind a promising academic career to answer God's call on his life, going on to found and lead churches across the globe. He is the author of "Dear Africa," a message encouraging the African diaspora to embrace identity and pursue achievement, and hosts annual conventions each December and at Easter that draw thousands of believers from around the world. He is a father of six and grandfather of eight.

The African Revival
Our calling is to spread the word of God and to promote a strong, vibrant and productive African identity to the world — helping people experience salvation, healing, deliverance and divine purpose through Jesus Christ. As Apostle Wutawunashe puts it: "Ke Naco — it's time to heed the call of the African Dream."
Family Singers
Formed in 1981, the Family Singers (also known as the Family Choir) are widely recognized in Zimbabwe as pioneers of contemporary gospel music, and worship remains at the heart of church life across our congregations worldwide.
